New database - AccessSurgery

AccessSurgery is the new database the Medical Library has licensed for the use of FIU HWCOM students and faculty. It provides medical students, surgical residents, and practicing surgeons with quick answers to surgical inquiries from trusted sources.

The content of this database include:

• Surgical videos
• Surgical animations
• Surgical textbooks
• Surgical atlas and anatomy 

In addition to the resources we provide to residency programs, AccessSurgery offers a Clerkship Corner, which is designed to provide clerks with text resources, case scenarios, and question and answers for their surgery rotation. In the Clerkship Corner, content is organized both by Core Topics as well as by Organ Systems.
